Man shot to death in gang attack
A man was shot and killed Sunday in a Wilmington neighborhood in what police are calling a gang-related homicide.
Alfred McChullin, 21, was standing outside a house in the 1000 block of Ravenna Avenue at 12:20 p.m. when a man drove up in a station wagon and pulled out a semi-automatic weapon, said Lt. Andrea Grossman of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division.
The man fired several rounds toward McChullin, then fled.
McChullin died later in the day at a hospital from multiple injuries, Grossman said.
