15 vehicles pile up on 605 Freeway

Fifteen vehicles were involved in a pileup Sunday on the southbound 605 Freeway near Rose Hills Memorial Park, California Highway Patrol Officer Jose Nunez said.

Four lanes were blocked for about an hour and a half. The CHP responded to a call involving three vehicles driving in the rain just after 4 p.m. No fatalities were reported, though several people were injured and taken to area hospitals.
