HIT AND MISS
* Hit: From the greenside bunker at the 18th hole, Mike Weir knocked it out of the sand and into the hole for a birdie to put the punctuation mark on a two-under 69.
* Miss: Sorry about that, Phil, but a quadruple-bogey nine on the 539-yard par five 13th -- a birdie hole -- is going to go down as a colossal mistake. Mickelson needed four wedge shots to keep the ball on the green from directly in front of the hole.
