Jaguars...38 Lions...14

DETROIT — Maurice Jones-Drew ran for a career-high three touchdowns in the second quarter alone after Detroit had taken an early lead and David Garrard threw two touchdown passes in the second half, leading the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 38-14 victory Sunday over the winless Lions.
The Jaguars (4-5) snapped a two-game losing streak, including a setback to winless Cincinnati last week when they ran for just 68 yards. Jacksonville avoided the dubious distinction of being the first team in NFL history to get beaten in consecutive weeks by winless opponents that had lost at least six games.
Daunte Culpepper made his anticipated debut for Detroit and didn’t make a difference, completing five of 10 passes for 104 yards with an interception as the Lions fell to 0-9.
