At most of the following establishments you’ll receive a par-cooked turkey that will require about an hour or two in the oven when you get it home. Some, such as Sapphire and Blue on Blue, are also serving Thanksgiving dinner in the restaurant -- in case unpacking containers and reheating the components suddenly sound too overwhelming.

Auntie Em’s Kitchen in Eagle Rock, in addition to pickup orders, is offering delivery for $25 extra. The meal is based around either turkey breast or a vegetarian savory nut pie, with all the basic fixings (gravy, stuffing, sweet and mashed potatoes) for $35 per person, plus an infinite variety of sides, $9.95 to $12.95 for servings for four. City Bakery The outpost of the popular New York bakery and gourmet emporium is offering two sizes of turkey, 12 to 16 pounds at $125 and 16 to 18 pounds at $150 (slightly less for uncooked), with stuffing for four to six people ($30) or six to eight ($50), and five vegetables at $24 or $50. Clay Oven in Irvine is preparing its tandoori Thanksgiving, centered on a 10- to 12-pound free-range, skinned turkey that is marinated for 48 hours in a blend of fresh spices, then cooked in the mesquite-fired tandoor oven. It comes with basmati rice stuffing and cranberry chutney and, at $54.95, serves six people comfortably. Guelaguetza is preparing Oaxacan-style turkeys with a deliriously rich stuffing of prunes, raisins, olives, capers, ground beef and potatoes. The turkey is marinated (and injected) with a spicy wine sauce. The meal serves 12 to 15, comes with pasta salad, bean paste and a sweet salad made of apples, nuts and cream, all for $120. Joan’s on Third offers Thanksgiving a la carte, so you can order as much or as little as you like. A 10-pound turkey is $56, a quart of gravy is $17, wild mushroom bread pudding for four is $18, and so on. There are numerous sides, salads, breads and desserts from which to choose. Olives Gourmet Grocer has several options, including a vegan Thanksgiving with a cranberry field roast for the main course (grains, lentils, cranberries) with mushroom gravy and pie at $16 per person. A full Diestel natural turkey for six (8 to 10 pounds) comes with the works -- potatoes, yams, veggies, stuffing -- and pumpkin pie for $130. Real Food Daily (both locations) provides vegetarian organic dinners based around a tofu and tempeh faux turkey breast, corn-sage stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes and parsnips, and more. Dinners include a slice of pumpkin pie with tofu whip, at $38.95 per person. Real Food also offers cakes and pies, like a Southern maple pecan pie for $36. Sapphire Pantry offers a whole Diestel natural hen turkey with bread and fruit dressing and all the fixings, including a cranberry-kumquat chutney and pumpkin pie, at $295 for six to eight people. 71 Palm, the country French restaurant in Ventura, is preparing either individual herb-roasted hen turkey breast with the fixings, or whole turkeys, calculated at a pound per person. Along with stuffing and vegetables, the meal includes macadamia-crusted garnet yams, and an apple tart to finish. Order by Thursday, $25 per person. 71 N. Spring Street Smokehouse gives you a choice between smoked or deep-fried turkeys that come with mac ‘n’ cheese, as well as the full Thanksgiving sides and bourbon bread pudding. Zov’s Bistro replaces the standard stuffing with a wild mushroom, black currant, pine-nut and jasmine rice mix. The turkey is free-range, serves 12 to 15, and comes with salad, yams, mashed potatoes -- the works -- and a choice of pies, for $375. In addition to many notable hotel restaurants, like the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and some chains like McCormick & Schmick’s, establishments all over the Southland are offering wonderful options for Thanksgiving dinner. You’ve got a choice from the traditional to the vegan to the turkey-hater’s menus.

Akasha, the organic locavore spot in Culver City, has something for vegans as well as turkey-lovers. There’s a generous list of sides, including cornmeal and andouille sausage stuffing -- the first is included, but after that it’s $8 per side. Beacon chef-owner Kazuto Matsusaka is preparing both traditional Thanksgiving and Asian options. Dinner starts with a choice of six first courses, including a duck confit salad with frisee, grapes and candied pecans. Five main-course options include turkey, black cod and a vegetarian bento box, with a choice of eight sides, one of which is an old-fashioned chestnut and sausage stuffing. The Bistro Garden at Coldwater is offering not only traditional roast turkey with all the fixings, but choices of filet mignon or poached salmon. There are four options for first course, and four for dessert, including tarte tatin. All this and piano music as well. Cafe del Rey, along with views of the marina, is offering a three-course meal -- but the choice for those courses is considerable. After an amuse, there are nine options for first course, including oysters, crab cakes and foie gras. The main course could be smoked turkey, duck breast, pork chops or any of three more choices. Desserts include pumpkin pie, of course, but there’s also tarte tatin, chocolate souffle and pear strudel. Cafe Was, Ivan Kane’s speak-easy-inspired, trendy Hollywood lounge, is serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner -- organic turkey breast cooked sous vide with lemon and maple, plus a leg stuffed with chestnut. The dinner includes a choice of two of five sides, and either tarte tatin or pumpkin panna cotta. The signature revolving piano will also be in service. 1521 N. Campanile will be serving a prix-fixe meal including butternut squash soup, a choice of salads or mushroom polenta, your choice of organic Willie Bird turkey breast, leg or thigh served with mustard-grain gravy, and a rich array of sides including bread pudding, succotash, creamed spinach and so on. There are three desserts to choose from. It’s $65 for adults and $30 for children younger than 12. Takeout is also available. 624 S. Craft Los Angeles, where meals are served family-style, is offering three first courses, including chestnut agnolotti and a charcuterie plate, then a choice between turkey, rib-eye or diver scallops, including six side dishes and, if you have room, four desserts. Pumpkin pie is one, but also included is chocolate peanut butter cup. Five Crowns, the English-tavern-inspired institution in Corona del Mar, is presenting a choice of five first courses, then a variety of mains, from turkey to various cuts of prime rib, pork rib, salmon or lamb, from $32 to $45. Melisse, now a Michelin two-star restaurant, is preparing the traditional turkey and pumpkin pie, but there’s a lot more to choose from. After an amuse, there are five choices for the first course, including Maine lobster ravioli, diver scallops or seared foie gras. Aside from the turkey with chanterelle, apple and brioche stuffing, there’s prime rib or crispy sea bass. To finish there are three desserts. Palate Food & Wine is offering its first Thanksgiving dinner, with a choice between heritage turkey (smaller, darker, more flavorful meat) and organic. There are four appetizers to choose from, including autumn salad with lettuce, persimmons, pomegranate and pumpkin seed oil, or oxtail agnolotti with parsnips and wild herbs. There are four mains: turkey, whole slow-roasted goat, ham, and Tomales Bay sand dab. With three dessert choices, it comes to $55 for adults, $30 for children. 933 S. Parker’s Lighthouse, the popular waterside seafood restaurant with views of the Queen Mary, is presenting roasted free-range turkey with a sun-dried cherry and pistachio stuffing, salad, all the fixings and pumpkin pie with Chantilly cream from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Adults pay $23, and it’s $10 for children. Patina is starting the menu with smoked striped bass, followed by four second-course options, including agnolotti with Moroccan pumpkin, apple veloute and peppercorns. Twin Palms Pasadena will put out a Thanksgiving buffet and toss in a jazz trio.
