Minnesota 106, at Detroit 80: Randy Foye had 23 points and a career-high 14 assists, and the Timberwolves got their first road victory of the season. Minnesota took control with first-half defense, holding Detroit to 28% shooting. Ryan Gomes had 13 points and six rebounds in the half. The Pistons have lost three of four and fallen to 4-5 since Allen Iverson joined the team.
at Denver 114, Chicago 101: Kenyon Martin scored 26 points, Carmelo Anthony had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and Chauncey Billups and Nene each added 21 points as Denver moved to 8-2 since the acquisition of Billups. Denver closed the game on an 18-2 spurt.
Boston 118, at Toronto 103: Ray Allen scored 21 points and the Celtics led from the start in winning for the fifth time in a row. Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo and Tony Allen each scored 15 points for the Celtics, who have won 11 of 12 since a Nov. 1 loss to Indiana.
at Philadelphia 89, Golden State 81: The 76ers used a big lineup and broke a five-game losing streak to the Warriors.
at Lakers 118, Sacramento 108: Andrew Bynum had 15 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
