McNabb practices

Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb returned to practice Friday, but the Eagles could be without running back Brian Westbrook on Sunday at Chicago against the Bears.

McNabb was a full participant in that practice after sitting out all week because a chest bruise that he sustained during a 15-6 victory Sunday over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is questionable for the Bears game.

“During the practice, he felt good,” Coach Andy Reid said.

Eagles guard Shawn Andrews and tight end L.J. Smith, are listed as doubtful. Westbrook has sat out practice all week with an ankle injury but plans to be ready to play.

Oakland Raiders running back Justin Fargas will sit out for a second consecutive game because of a groin injury, and Darren McFadden is questionable for Sunday’s home game against the San Diego Chargers. If McFadden can’t play, the only other tailback on the active roster is Michael Bush. Fullback Justin Griffith could also get carries if needed.

Green Bay Coach Mike McCarthy said that cornerback Al Harris, who suffered a serious spleen injury in Sunday’s game, could return to the Packers before the season’s midpoint.

The Baltimore Ravens ruled out starting cornerback Samari Rolle for Monday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of shoulder and neck injuries. . . . Brett Favre was listed as questionable for the New York Jets game against Arizona because of a sore left ankle, but he is expected to start. . . . Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders, who was expected to miss four to six weeks because of a sprained right ankle, has had arthroscopic surgery on a knee.
