Pittsburgh 34, at Syracuse 24: LaRod Stephens-Howling scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, Conor Lee kicked four field goals, and the Panthers (3-1, 1-0) rallied past the Orange (1-4, 0-1) at Syracuse, N.Y. Pittsburgh, which lost its season opener after starting the season ranked No. 25, scored on all four of its possessions in the second half to hand Coach Greg Robinson his 20th loss in 22 conference games at Syracuse.
at West Virginia 27, Marshall 3: Pat White threw two touchdown passes before hurting the thumb on his throwing hand in the third quarter, and Noel Devine rushed for 125 yards and a score to lead the Mountaineers (2-2) over the Thundering Herd (3-2) at Morgantown.
at Rutgers 38, Morgan State 0: Jourdan Brooks ran for three touchdowns and the Scarlet Knights (1-3) scored all of their points in the first half in defeating the Bears (2-2) at Piscataway, N.J.
Cincinnati 17, at Akron 15: Tony Pike threw two touchdown passes to Mardy Gilyard and Jake Rogers made the go-ahead field goal with 7:45 left to lead the Bearcats (3-1) over the Zips (2-3) at Akron, Ohio.
