UC Riverside overcomes 16-point halftime deficit to beat San Diego

at UC Riverside 58, San Diego 55: Kyle Austin had 28 points and 10 rebounds, and the Highlanders (5-2) rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to overtake the Toreros (4-4) in the final minute to win. De’Jon Jackson led San Diego with 16 points. Dwight Gordon had 12 points for the Highlanders, who have won five straight after starting the season with two losses.

Central Arkansas 69, Cal State Fullerton 49: Jared Rehmel scored 18 points and Chris Poellnitz 16 to lead Central Arkansas past the Titans in the first game of the Etech Lumberjack Classic at Nacogdoches, Texas. Tadre Sheppard scored 11 and Imad Qahwash had 12 rebounds for the Bears (2-5). No player for the Titans (3-1) scored in double figures. Bryce Webster had eight points, six of them coming from the free-throw line. Cal State Fullerton shot 32% from the field.
