at No. 2 Texas 107, Long Beach State 74: After two games filled with offensive struggles, the Longhorns (7-0) scored their most points in five seasons to beat the 49ers. Stephan Gilling scored 18 points to lead the 49ers (4-4) and T.J. Robinson had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Texas shot 59% and had 33 points off 23 turnovers by Long Beach State, and also had 23 assists against 11 turnovers.
