Sullenberger flight: An item in TV critic Mary McNamara’s Best of 2009 list in today’s Calendar section refers to the airplane that went down in the Hudson River in January as United Airlines Flight 1549. It was a US Airways flight. Also, the nickname of the pilot, Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger, is “Sully,” not “Sulley.”

Mealworms: An article in the Dec. 13 California section about a Compton worm farm incorrectly attributed a quote to Rosa Gomez. It was Daniel Cervantes, a resident near the farm, who was washing his car when he said, “They’ve been here all these years before I moved here in 2004.”

College football: A chart listing bowl games in the Dec. 13 Sports section said the Texas Bowl between Missouri and Navy would be played Dec. 30. It will be played Dec. 31.

Ballet times: An article in Friday’s Calendar section on “The Snow Queen” ballet at Glendale Community College gave the Saturday and Sunday matinee times as 2:30 p.m.; it should have said 2 p.m.
