Roger Mason pulled up and leaned into a three-point shot with 20.4 seconds left, and Tim Duncan scored 23 points with 13 rebounds Sunday to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 105-99 victory over the Boston Celtics.

It was the second consecutive home loss for the Celtics, who had a 93-90 lead with 1:36 left. Kevin Garnett led Boston with 26 points.

Matt Bonner scored a season-high 23 points and Manu Ginobili had 19 as a reserve for the Spurs, who hadn’t played since losing to Denver on Tuesday. Ginobili, Duncan, Michael Finley and Tony Parker all sat out against the Nuggets.

“If I would have played in Denver, I wouldn’t have been this fresh for sure,” Ginobili said. “It was very important for us to get rest a couple of days.”
