at Tennessee 31, No. 21 South Carolina 13: The Volunteers took three fumbles and turned them into touchdowns in the upset. Jonathan Crompton threw two touchdowns, Montario Hardesty ran for two more and Rico McCoy forced two fumbles as Coach Lane Kiffin grabbed his first win over a ranked opponent.

at Auburn 33, No. 24 Mississippi 20: Chris Todd passed for 212 yards, Ben Tate ran for 144 yards and Walt McFadden returned an interception for a touchdown to lift the Tigers. Auburn scored 23 points in the third quarter and turned away Jevan Snead and the Rebels seven times on drives to midfield or beyond.

Mississippi State 31, at Kentucky 24: Anthony Dixon rushed for two touchdowns and a school-record 252 yards as the Bulldogs kept their bowl hopes alive by outlasting the Wildcats.

at Arkansas 63, Eastern Michigan 27: Ryan Mallett completed 14 of 16 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns, and Broderick Green had a 99-yard touchdown run to lead the Razorbacks over the Eagles (0-8).
