Associated Press

The Memphis Grizzlies on Monday ended their one-year contract with 10-time All-Star and former NBA most valuable player Allen Iverson in what the team called a mutual agreement.

Iverson, who had complained about being used in a reserve role, began an indefinite leave Nov. 7 to deal with a “personal issue,” after playing only three games for the Grizzlies. The team said it will waive him.

Warriors trade Jackson

The Golden State Warriors traded disgruntled swingman Stephen Jackson and guard Acie Law to the Charlotte Bobcats for guard Raja Bell and former Lakers forward Vladimir Radmanovic. Jackson had feuded with Coach Don Nelson, who had said the team would try to trade him.

Utah guard Deron Williams plans to play this week after sitting out two games because one of his young daughters underwent medical tests for an undisclosed condition. . . . Shaquille O’Neal is expected to sit out Cleveland’s game tonight against the Warriors because of a shoulder injury.
