ACC: No. 7 Georgia Tech upset by Georgia

Georgia 30, at No. 7 Georgia Tech 24: The Bulldogs (7-5) rushed for 339 yards, led by Washaun Ealey’s 183, as they upset the Yellow Jackets. Caleb King rambled for 166 yards and two touchdowns for Georgia. Despite the loss, Georgia Tech will play Clemson for the ACC title next weekend in Tampa, Fla.

No. 14 Virginia Tech 42, Virginia 13: Ryan Williams ran for 182 yards and four touchdowns, and the Hokies won in what was probably Al Groh’s last game as the coach of the Cavaliers. Virginia Tech won its sixth straight in the series and for the 10th time in 11 meetings. It was their eighth win in nine games against Groh, and ended Virginia’s worst season since it finished 2-9 in 1982.

at North Carolina State 28, No. 23 North Carolina 27: Russell Wilson threw four touchdown passes and Alan-Michael Cash blocked a field-goal attempt with about five minutes left to help the Wolfpack rally for the victory.

Boston College 19, at Maryland 17: Montel Harris ran for 142 yards, Dave Shinskie threw a 66-yard touchdown pass, and the Eagles sealed the Terrapins’ first 10-loss season. Steve Aponavicius kicked four field goals for Boston College, but the senior was wide right on a 31-yarder, ruining what had been a perfect season.

Wake Forest 45, at Duke 34: Riley Skinner passed for a career-high 372 yards and a school-record five touchdowns to lead the Demon Deacons. Skinner completed 28 of 38 passes and did not throw an interception.
