Big Ten: Penn State handles Temple easily, 31-6

at No. 5 Penn State 31, Temple 6: Evan Royster ran for 134 yards and a touchdown, and the Nittany Lions (3-0) revived their rushing attack. Royster had 119 yards by halftime, and Daryll Clark threw for 167 yards and two scores as Penn State won its 27th straight game against the Owls (0-2).

No. 11 Ohio State 38, Toledo 0: Terrelle Pryor hooked up with Dane Sanzenbacher on two early touchdown passes and the Buckeyes (2-1) defused the high-scoring spread attack of the Rockets (1-2) at Cleveland. Pryor completed 17 of 28 passes for 262 yards and three scores.

at No. 25 Michigan 45, Eastern Michigan 17: Carlos Brown had a 90-yard touchdown run and a career-high 187 yards rushing to help the Wolverines (3-0) beat the Eagles (0-3).

Northern Illinois 28, at Purdue 21: Me’co Brown ran for 150 yards, and the Huskies (2-1) beat the Boilermakers (1-2) for their first victory against a Big Ten school since 1988.

at Wisconsin 44, Wofford 14: Scott Tolzien threw for two touchdowns in the Badgers’ (3-0) rout of the Terriers (1-2).

Indiana 38, at Akron 21: Ray Fisher returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a score in the Hoosiers’ (3-0) victory over the Zips (1-2).
