Celtics win in Kevin Garnett’s return

Kevin Garnett returned after missing 10 games because of a right knee injury and had 13 points, and Paul Pierce scored 24 Friday night as the Boston Celtics held off the Portland Trail Blazers, 98-95, in overtime.
Ray Allen was only two for 13 from the field when he made a three-pointer with 42 seconds left in overtime to put Boston ahead, 96-95. Tony Allen’s breakaway dunk accounted for the final points.
