Week ahead for Dodgers

Share

Monday through Wednesday: vs. San Francisco Giants

Thursday through Sunday: vs. New York Mets

The Dodgers haven’t seen Tim Lincecum since April, when the two-time Cy Young winner pitched six shutout innings at Dodger Stadium. They are scheduled to see him Tuesday, preceded Monday by rookie Madison Bumgarner and followed Wednesday by Barry Zito. Bumgarner has given up one run in his last 16 innings. Zito has a 2.03 earned-run average in two starts against the Dodgers this season, and his overall ERA of 3.51 is the highest in the Giants’ starting rotation. None of the Giants’ top four starters — Lincecum, Matt Cain, Zito or Jonathan Sanchez — has missed a start.
