New directors: An article in Monday’s Calendar section about studios’ embracing newcomers to direct films in the fanboy genre described Jay Chou as a Japanese pop star. Chou is a pop star in Taiwan.

My Favorite Weekend: The My Favorite Weekend feature in Friday’s Calendar section identified John Debney as “the man behind the music of the ‘Iron Man’ films.” Debney composed the music for this year’s “Iron Man 2.” Ramin Djawadi composed the music for the 2008 film “Iron Man.”

Alzheimer’s drug: An article in Monday’s Health section said that the medication Aricept is approved for earlier stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Aricept can be used for mild, moderate or severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Fashion timeline: In Sunday’s Image section, a timeline of the history of wardrobes said that Princess Diana donated 79 dresses for a charity sale at Christie’s in 1979. The year was 1997.

Mike Garrett: A chart with an article in Wednesday’s Section A about Pat Haden’s replacing Mike Garrett as USC athletic director said that Garrett had played eight seasons in the National Football League. His first four years of professional football were in the American Football League, his second four in the NFL after the leagues merged.
