Budget impasse: An article in Wednesday’s LATExtra section about the lack of progress on a state spending plan said Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez was out of town when his office declined the gift of an Easy-Bake oven from Republicans. In fact, Pérez was simply out of the Capitol building.

WikiLeaks investigation: An article in Wednesday’s Section A about the criminal investigation of the leaking of secret reports about the Afghan war carried an erroneous headline. The Army intelligence analyst reported to be a focus of the inquiry, Bradley E. Manning, is not an Army officer, as the headline described him, but a private first class, as the article correctly noted.

BCS rankings: Jerry Crowe’s column in Thursday’s Sports section said Auburn finished second in the final BCS college football standings in 2004. Auburn was third in the final BCS standings, which were computed at the end of the regular season, but finished second in the Associated Press poll released after all bowl games were played.

ABC Entertainment: An article in Thursday’s Business section about the resignation of Steve McPherson as president of ABC Entertainment included photos of three key ABC series. The caption with a photo from “Modern Family” erred in calling the show “Modern Town” and saying it came from a rival network. The series was created by a rival studio, 20th Century Fox Television, as was noted in the article.

Zac Efron: A photo caption with an article about actor Zac Efron in Thursday’s Calendar misspelled director Burr Steers’ first name as Burt.

“Woodstock”: The Screening Room column in Thursday’s Calendar said that “Woodstock” would be playing Sunday at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. It screens Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
