Update: The Kings’ 6-4 victory over Columbus on Saturday was their first win in five tries on an eight-game homestand. The lineup is expected to remain the same as it was Saturday, when left wing Alexei Ponikarovsky and defenseman Willie Mitchell returned from injuries. The Kings are 17-5-1 with Ponikarovsky in the lineup and 12-4-0 with Mitchell in the lineup. Veteran winger Ryan Smyth remains hot, with six goals and eight points in the last eight games. Defenseman Jack Johnson, who signed a seven-year, $30.5-million contract extension Saturday, has two goals and 12 points in his last 10 games. The Maple Leafs have won three of their last four games but remain well out of the last East playoff spot.
