KINGS TONIGHT

vs. ST. LOUIS

When: 7:30.

Where: Staples Center.

On the air: TV: FS West, Radio: 1150.

Records: Kings 23-18-1, Blues 20-15-6 going into Wednesday.

Record vs. Blues: 0-1-0.

Update: Goaltender Jonathan Quick will start for the Kings, who are 1-5 on this eight-game homestand and 1-6 overall since Dec. 29. Their worst slump this season was a 1-7 stretch in November. Coach Terry Murray mixed his lines again and reunited Ryan Smyth, Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams, a potent combination last season. Murray said Trevor Lewis and Kevin Westgate will play on the fourth line but that he had not decided on their left wing. His options are Brad Richardson or Alexei Ponikarovsky. The other lines in Wednesday’s practice were Marco Sturm-Jarret Stoll-Wayne Simmonds, and Kyle Clifford- Michal Handzus-Dustin Brown. Defenseman Davis Drewiske needed several stitches to close a cut on his forehead after he was stuck by a puck during practice. He was not scheduled to play Thursday.
