The FIGat7th center in downtown Los Angeles is racking up quite the list of retail tenants, with cosmetics chain MAC and beauty company L’Occitane set to join names such as H&M, Zara and City Target.

Brookfield Office Properties, which owns FIGat7th, said MAC and L’Occitane will open in May. The real estate firm has said that Zara will begin welcoming guests in the spring, while H&M will do the same sometime this year.

MAC will get nearly 1,500 square feet of space on the second level of FIGat7th. L’Occitane will occupy 1,300 square feet next door.

Brookfield said it signed more than 72,500 square feet of retail leases for the center in 2013.

Downtown Los Angeles has seen a recent flowering of urban retail, taking after grand shopping districts in cities such as New York and San Francisco.

Brooks Bros. opened an outpost at the Jonathan Club in April. Acne Studios launched in December, followed a day later by an Urban Outfitters inside the Rialto Theatre.
