Tim Griffin A current editor-at-large and former editor in chief at Artforum magazine, Griffin will discuss the new exhibition “All of This and Nothing,” the sixth installment of the Hammer’s biennial invitational series. Art Collectives and the Current State of Literary Culture One way to get through tough times as a writer or an artist — and it’s always tough times — is to band together with kindred spirits. At this roundtable discussion led by Los Angeles Times book reviewer Susan Salter Reynolds, authors from the L.A. collective Glass Table will read their work and discuss publishing outside the mainstream. Raphael Saadiq The R&B revivalist is one of music’s better comeback stories of late, and his airtight new album, “Stone Rollin,’” should keep the momentum going. Barry Manilow He’s been lauded by such luminaries as Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan, has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide, and penned an endless string of timeless hits such as “Copacabana,” “Mandy” and of course, “Could It Be Magic.” During this special benefit for Reprise Theatre Company, he’ll serenade fans with some of those hits and share insights and stories from his lengthy career.
