Shaking off Sunday night’s Emmy hangover, it should come as no surprise that showbiz types want a little sunshine — specifically, the well-heeled gals of film and television. Sometimes women’s intuition says that the best partying to be done is over a good ol’ fashioned girls’ lunch: two forks, one salad, lots of white wine. Here’s a rundown of some civilized schmoozing happening at high noon.

Michael Kors supports the Saban Clinic: American design label Michael Kors welcomed ladies and their checkbooks to the Rodeo Drive flagship for a Tuesday luncheon to benefit the Saban Free Clinic of Los Angeles. Fox chairwoman Dana Walden hosted “Glee” star Lea Michele in a hot pink mini, as well as Emmy-winner Julie Bowen for some dining and shopping. Proceeds from the sale of Kors’ fall collection were donated to the healthcare service.

Variety’s Power of Women: On Friday, the Beverly Hills Hotel hosts the trade publication and its ceremony honoring extraordinary women and their charitable efforts. Among the celebrated are Mary J. Blige for her eponymous women’s advancement foundation, Annette Bening for her work with the Actors Fund, Eva Longoria for her Eva’s Heroes, and Olivia Wilde for her chipping in with Artists for Peace & Justice. Director Adam Shankman will play emcee with additional guests Hugh Jackman, Viola Davis and Kate Beckinsale.

Rape Treatment Center brunch: On Sunday, Ron Burkle‘s luxe Beverly Hills estate will play host to the annual Rape Treatment Center fundraiser. Held to benefit the facility at the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, this year’s brunch will be hosted by the highly decorated cast of “Mad Men.” Creator Matthew Weiner, along with cast members Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss plus expected attendees Demi Moore, Octavia Spencer and Warren Beatty will help shed light on care and prevention for victims as well as consciousness-raising within the industry and without.
