Cake Boss: Next Great Baker: The bakers are asked to make a cake for the cast of the Broadway musical, “A Christmas Story.” Peter Billingsley serves as a guest judge in this new episode (9 p.m. TLC).

Hawaii Five-0: McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and a little girl are taken hostage by an armed man (Tom Arnold) during a camping trip with Grace (Kono Kalakaua) in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).

The Hollywood Christmas Parade: Since 1928, this parade has been a part of Hollywood history (6 p.m. Hallmark).

American Country Awards: Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth return to host this third annual ceremony. Performers include Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town (8 p.m. Fox).

Mel Brooks Strikes Back! Mel Brooks opens up for an intimate evening of show-and-tell comedy with the BBC’s Alan Yentob (9 p.m. HBO).

Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays: Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton and Carly Rae Jepsen join the singer in his hometown of Vancouver to perform Christmas classics (10 p.m. NBC).
