Nature: The new episode “Animal Odd Couples” investigates unlikely cross-species relationships and tries to learn what they suggest about animal emotions (8 p.m. KOCE).

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Russell’s (Ted Danson) son (Brandon W. Jones) becomes a suspect in the murder of a college basketball coach. Peri Gilpin returns as Russell’s wife in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).

Conspiracy Theory With Jesse Ventura: The former wrestler and governor is back for a third season of his unscripted series. This time he’s joined by his son, Tyrel Ventura, and Sean Stone, son of filmmaker Oliver Stone (10 p.m. Tru).

LOLwork: This new series takes viewers behind the scenes at one of the largest humor publishers on the Internet (11 p.m. Bravo).

Guardians of the Gates: The Surfboats: Filmmaker David Wittkower and his crew ride along with a Coast Guard search-and-rescue unit in this 2012 documentary (8 p.m. KVCR).
