30 Rock: In this new episode, Liz and Jack (Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin) butt heads over their respective efforts to influence voters in the upcoming presidential election (8 p.m. NBC).


The Vampire Diaries:  Damon and Klaus (Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan) confront Connor (Todd Williams), who’s tried to enlist Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) in his mission to uncover the town’s secrets in this new episode (8 p.m. KTLA).

Last Resort: Marcus and Sam (Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman) enter into negotiations with the U.S. government, hoping to end the standoff in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

Two and a Half Men: Rose (Melanie Lynskey) is back, and immediately catches the eye of Walden (Ashton Kutcher) in this new episode (8:30 p.m. CBS).

Up All Night: When Reagan (Christina Applegate) fails to get Chris (Will Arnett) to notice her, she fears that she’s losing her touch, but her confidence gets a boost during a visit to her dentist (Tony Hale). Maya Rudolph and Sean Hayes also star in this new episode (8:30 p.m. NBC).


Beauty and the Beast: Vincent (Jay Ryan) believes a Bosnian immigrant (Lara Jean Chorostecki) is innocent of charges that she killed the judge who deported her brother. Cat (Kristin Kreuk) agrees to look into it, but she interferes with the official investigation in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).

Project Runway All Stars: Fourteen designers return for a second chance in the season premiere (9 p.m. Lifetime).

Austin City Limits:  Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples are featured in this new episode (10 p.m. KVCR).

Beyond Scared Straight:  Teens from San Bernardino County get a taste of life behind bars in this new episode (10 p.m. A&E;).


Going Medieval:  This new special looks at life set in the time of the series “World Without End” (9 p.m. Reelz).


World Series: Game 2: Detroit Tigers visit the San Francisco Giants (4:30 p.m. Fox).
