That guy who is seemingly everywhere sits down with that family that is seemingly everywhere in the new special “Ryan Seacrest With The Kardashians: E! News Presents.” 9 p.m. E!

Murders most foul! But fear not, “The Bletchley Circle” is on the case. Four women, former code-breakers for the Brits during World War II, try to stop a serial killer in this three-part mystery drama set in the early 1950s. 10 p.m. KOCE

MONDAY

Slaughtered for their ivory, penned up in zoos without adequate room to roam, often mistreated as circus performers, the plight of pachyderm is explored in “An Apology to Elephants.” 7 p.m. HBO

He did the time, but did he do the crime? Released from prison after two decades on death row, a man tries to prove that you can go home again in the six-part mystery drama “Rectify.” Aden Young and Adelaide Clemens star. 9 p.m. Sundance

“The Godfather Part II?” Some say so. “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back?” We think so. What about “Aliens?” Those are just some of the follow-up films featured in the special “Sequels Better Than the Original.” 9 p.m. TVGN

If you were the leader of the Maldives, a tiny nation spread over a chain of low-lying atolls in the Indian Ocean, you might be sounding the alarm about global warming too. The 2011 documentary “The Island President” airs on “Independent Lens.” 10 p.m. KOCE

TUESDAY

There was a man, a certain man: William Randolph Hearst and the still-thriving media empire he founded over a century ago are the subject of the 2012 doc “Citizen Hearst.” 5 and 8 p.m. Biography

“30 for 30” looks back at the 1983 NFL draft that brought two of the game’s best-ever quarterbacks to the pros in “Elway to Marino.” 5 and 6:30 p.m. ESPN

IRA, 401k, Powerball? What’s your retirement plan? “Frontline” looks at who’s minding your money — and just how much profit some financial institutions are making off of it — in “The Retirement Gamble.” 10 p.m. KOCE

And up through the ground come a bubblin’ crude … “Backyard Oil,” that is. And so it’s drill, baby, drill all around the hill country of south central Kentucky in this new unscripted series. 10 and 10:30 p.m. Discovery

WEDNESDAY

Felicia Day of the on-line series “The Guild” and “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” guest stars as a hacker turned fledgling monster-hunter on a new “Supernatural.” 9 p.m. KTLA

If you die and go to heaven, and it stinks, you’ll know you’re in “Garlic Paradise.” Dishes infused with garlicky goodness are what’s on the menu in this new special. 10 p.m. Travel

THURSDAY

Hoping to score an Elway or Marino of their own, pro football teams make their picks as the “2013 NFL Draft” kicks off in New York City. 5 p.m. ESPN

Familiar faces: Roseanne Barr continues her guest stint on the “The Office,” Sarah Jessica Parker pays a visit to “Glee” and “Fringe’s” Jasika Nicole is featured on the D.C.-set drama “Scandal.” 9 p.m. NBC; 9 p.m. Fox; 10 p.m. ABC

Aspiring designers get one last chance to strut their stuff — or rather, have fashion models strut their stuff for them — on the season finale of the Heidi Klum-hosted reality competition “Project Runway.” 9 p.m. Lifetime

Unsuspecting restaurant workers vie for a chance to own their own franchise in the new hidden-camera series “Giving You the Business.” Here’s a tip: Employees must wash hands. 10 p.m. Food

FRIDAY

Not a lot of people watch “Happy Endings” but the few who do really seem to like it. The sitcom, which may or may not be back next season, says ‘bye for now with back to back episodes. 8 and 8:30 p.m. ABC

“Oklahoma!” had an exclamation point in its title. “Carousel” did not, perhaps because it’s kind of a downer. The latter musical, the second from Messrs. Rodgers and Hammerstein, gets a fresh spin on “Live From Lincoln Center.” 9 p.m. KOCE

SATURDAY

The thing we love most about these Lifetime TV movies is that the titles are often self-explanatory. Case in point: “A Sister’s Revenge.” Brooke Burns and Ashley Jones star. 8 p.m. Lifetime
