Andy Samberg, Malin Akerman among panelists for PaleyFestPreviews

The panelists for the upcoming PaleyFestPreviews: Fall TV event were announced on Thursday, with Andy Samberg, Malin Akerman, Tony Shalhoub, James Caan and Dana Delaney among the stars who will be on hand to discuss their upcoming new series.

The ninth annual event, which takes place at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills from Sept. 6 to 13, previews upcoming TV series and hosts the stars and creators of screened shows for panel discussions.

The series featured at this year’s fest include the CBS comedy “We Are Men,” the CW drama “The Tomorrow People,” the Fox comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” the ABC comedies “Trophy Wife” and “Back in the Game” and the NBC drama “Ironside.”

Additionally, there will be two retrospective panels for “Dexter” which is about to end its eight-season run on Showtime and “China Beach,” the acclaimed drama from the 1990s.

For “We Are Men,” the panelists will include Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell, Kal Penn, Chris Smith, Rebecca Breeds and series creator Rob Greenberg.

For “The Tomorrow People,” panelists include Robbie Amell, Mark Pellegrino and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec, Danny Cannon and Phil Klemmer.

Cast members Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio and Chelsea Perretti will discuss “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” alongside series creators Dan Goor and Michael Schur.

The “Trophy Wife” lineup includes Akerman, Bradley Whitford, Marcia Gay Harden, Michaela Watkins, Bailee Madison, Ryan Scott Lee and Albert Tsai. Executive producers Sarah Haskins, Emily Halpern and Lee Eisenberg will also be there.

Caan and Maggie Lawson will discuss “Back in the Game” with executive producers Robb Cullen and Mark Cullen.

Blair Underwood will discuss his new series “Ironside” with cast members Spencer Grammer, Pablo Schreiber, Neal Bledsoe, Kenneth Choi and Brent Sexton. Executive producers Teri Weinberg, John Davis, John Fox and Ron West will also be there.

Michael C. Hall will say goodbye to “Dexter” with cast members Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, David Zayas, Aimee Garcia, Geoff Pierson, James Remar and Yvonne Strahovski. Executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton and Scott Buck will also be present.

Delaney and Marg Helgenberger will reunite with “China Beach” cast members Robert Picardo, Troy Evans, Nancy Giles, Ricki Lake, Chloe Webb, Jeff Korber and series creator John Sacret Young to look back at the classic series.
