Sriracha Quesarito? Brace yourself, Taco Bell is testing a Sriracha menu

Share

Taco Bell fans, prepare to have your Doritos-taco-shell-loving minds blown. The fast-food chain is testing a new Sriracha menu.

The special menu is being tested in Kansas City, and will include Sriracha-laced versions of existing Taco Bell items.

“Our customers love spicy food and we know that Sriracha is on the top of their list as the latest, most relevant flavor,” said Stephanie Perdue, Taco Bell’s vice president of marketing in a statement to The Times.

“This test brings together two things our consumers are passionate about: Taco Bell and Sriracha, and we’re looking forward to hearing the feedback from our fans.”

The Sriracha menu includes a Sriracha beef griller, Sriracha taco and taco supreme, Sriracha nachos and Sriracha grande scrambler. Rather than having the cooks in the back add a couple shots of Sriracha to your tacos, the hot sauce comes in the form of a Sriracha crema.

And for those of you who have been dousing your quesaritos, (quesadilla wrapped burrito) in Sriracha since their launch earlier this year, you’ll be happy to learn there’s a Sriracha quesarito as well.

There’s no word yet on when or even if the Sriracha menu will be expanded to other locations.
