ABC’s ‘The Taste’ open casting call headed for L.A.

Think you’ve got what it takes to win “The Taste”? Or just want to cozy up to its hosts, Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Marcus Samuelsson?

The ABC show is holding an open casting call for Season 3 of the cooking competition TV show. Budding home cooks and professional chefs are invited to take part in casting calls in five major U.S. cities.

The Los Angeles casting call will be held June 21 at Le Cordon Bleu on Sunset Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Khristianne Uy, a personal chef on team Brian Malarkey, ended up taking the title for Season 1 of the show, and Louise Leonard, a personal stylist on Lefebvre’s team, won Season 2. Winners receive $100,000 and “The Taste” trophy.

Judging from the past two seasons, loud mouths, people with stadium-sized egos and those with serious and little to no cooking chops are all fair game.
