Palm Desert finished second out of 120 teams with a two-day team score of 599 at the par-572 course. Palm Desert, ranked No. 10 by The Times, was led by freshman Bryan Harris, who shot 72 and 73 on par-72 courses along Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand to finish as fourth medalist. Teammate Ross Canavan was seventh overall, shooting 76 and 73, and Jordan Erickson shot 77 and 77.

Loyola Marymount-bound Jason D’Amore shot a tournament-record four-under-par 67 to lead Mira Costa to the team title.The three-man team of D’Amore, Brandin Cohen (72) and Evan Derian (73) shot a team tournament record of one-under par 212. D’Amore recorded six birdies and two bogeys en route to his individual victory. In the individuals, Bishop Diego’s Chris Saterlee’s even par 71 was good enough for second place, with Thousand Oaks’ Kyle Thurston and Mira Costa’s Cohen finishing in a tie for third at 73.

Eric Brambilla shot one-over-par 37 to medal for El Dorado (8-6, 4-3) at Black Gold Golf Club. Brea Olinda is 4-12, 1-5.

Jeremy Ito medaled with a three-under-par 34 at Whispering Lakes Golf Course for Redlands. Chase Davis led Fontana (3-7, 2-2) with a 41.

Cory Davis shot a one-under-par 35 to lead host Westminster (5-13, 1-3) at Meadowlark Golf Club. Ocean View is 0-3 in league.

Senior Daniel Im shot a one-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors, Ricky Costello shot a 36, and freshman Sihwan Kim finished with 37 for host La Mirada (14-2, 8-1) at Candlewood Country Club. Junior Scott Kirby shot a three-over 38 for Mayfair (9-10-1, 4-4).

Medalist Garrett Sapp shot 31 at par-35 La Mirada Golf Course for host No. 3 Gahr which had an overall team score of six under par. Sam Kim shot 33, and Kenny Kim and Tom Lee each shot 34 for the Gladiators (17-1). Andy Troxel shot 34 for Whittier Christian (13-5).

Sophomores Doug Fortner and Andrew Gunson each shot three-under 33 to co-medal and Colin Carter shot 34 for Foothill (13-3, 7-1) at Laguna Wood Golf Club. Fortner and Gunson each had four birdies. Ryan Citarella and Karl Katnick each shot 36 for the Knights, who shot eight-under as a team. Kyle Hall shot 37 as the sixth man and every Foothill registered at least one birdie.

Bill Cannon was the medalist for Woodbridge (10-2, 4-1) with an even-par 36 at Oak Creek Golf Course. Irvine is 3-11, 0-5.

Sophomore Tommy Lee shot a four-under-par 31 to earn medalist honors for No. 3 Gahr, which shot a school-record 10-under-par as team, at La Mirada Golf Course. Garrett Sapp shot a 32, John Moon scored 33, Kenny Kim fired a 34, and Leon Troy posted an even 35 to round out the scoring for Gahr (16-1). The Gladiators’ previous record of 176, was set at Rio Hondo golf course last season. No. 1 Cerritos is 17-1.

Medalist Joe Greiner shot a four-under-par 67 including a hole-in-one on the 17th hole at La Cumbre Country Club to lead No.2 Hart (24-0-1) over San Marcos (9-6).
