Kelley Pineda had three goals, scoring in the 22nd, 25th and 31st minute, for host Belmont (4-0-1, 2-0-0 Northern League). Lidia Ross added two goals for Belmont, which led 5-0 at halftime. Los Angeles fell to 0-5, 0-2.

Valeria Campos and Lara Takasugi each scored for host North Hollywood (0-0-1).

Taft 7, Van Nuys 1
Freshman Lauren Yoshizuka had three goals and one assist for Taft (4-0-1), which led 4-0 at halftime. Lauren Schofield added two goals and one assist for the Toreadors, increasing her total to seven goals in Taft’s first five games. Poirsha Woolfork scored in the 78th minute for host Van Nuys.

Venice 1, L.A. CES 0
Forward Kayla Case scored the only goal of the day for Venice (2-1) in a victory over visiting L.A. CES. Goalie Camille Aochi had six saves for the Gondoliers.

NORTHERN LEAGUE

Belmont 7, Franklin 0
Senior forward Kelly Pineda scored her fifth and sixth goals of the year for Belmont (3-0-1, 1-0). Teammate Aura Caceres, a junior forward, scored her fourth goal of the season. Also for the Sentinels, senior midfielder Nancy Gonzalez scored on a free kick and freshman midfielder Sonia Ibarra added a goal and two assists. Franklin is 0-4, 0-1.

Fairfax 2, Monroe 0
Emily Martinez and Toxhil Ruck both scored off assists from Stephanie Torres for visiting Fairfax (2-0). Monroe fell to 2-1.

Locke 1, Sherman Oaks CES 0
Carlyn Real scored from 25 yards in the 48th minute and Evelin Donato had six saves to earn her second shutout of the season for Locke (2-1).

NONLEAGUE

Belmont 8, Hollywood 0
Aura Caceres scored twice, and six reserves scored a single goal apiece for Belmont (2-0-1). Hollywood dropped to 0-2-0.

Chatsworth 1, Palisades 0
Senior Lindsey Liggera scored in the 48th minute and junior Morgan Liggera had seven saves for host Chatsworth (3-0).

Grant 3, Cleveland 2
Tania Altamiranio had two goals and Emelin Rosales also scored for visiting Grant (3-1). Cleveland is 1-1-1. Altamiranio has eight goals in four games this season.

L.A. Jordan 2, Carson 0
Jordan scored both of its goals in the first half to improve to 3-0. Carson fell to 0-2.

L.A. Hamilton 5, North Hollywood 0
Hamilton is 2-0 and North Hollywood is 0-1.

Sylmar 6, Birmingham 1
Alexis Estrada scored two goals and Jessica Andrade had four assists for the Spartans (3-0). Andrade also scored a goal, as did teammates Brenda Nunez, Alianna Telles and Lorena Nunez. Sylmar goalkeeper Nicole Gonzalez made seven saves. Birmingham is 1-2.
