Softball: Dorsey duo is headed to Shaw University

The All-City duo of pitcher Krystal La Flora and outfielder Joi Davis from Dorsey High haved signed a letter of intent with Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C., Coach Irvin Davis said.
La Flora was Dorsey’s pitcher for four years, picking up 42 victories and 520 strikeouts. She also had a career batting average of .441 and was the Coliseum League player of the year. She had a 3.9 grade-point average.
Davis batted .581 as a senior and led Dorsey in RBIs.
