Eric Sondheimer

Eric Sondheimer is the prep sports columnist for the Los Angeles Times. He has been honored five times by the California Prep Sportswriters Assn. for best prep sports column. A graduate of Cal State Northridge, he joined the Daily News as prep editor in 1980. He left for 18 months in 1990 to be West Coast correspondent for the National Sports Daily. He returned to the Daily News in 1981 and joined The Times in 1997 covering high school sports.
Calabasas High is moving forward despite challenges from wildfires

Their campus is closed, their shoulder pads are unavailable and they have all kinds of free time with no school until after Thanksgiving, but the Calabasas High football team continues to move forward in preparation for a Southern Section Division 2 semifinal game on Friday against Upland.

Myron Miller resigns as football coach at Tustin

Tustin High announced on Tuesday that Myron Miller has resigned as football coach. Miller was head coach from 1996-2012 and 2016 through this past season. He was known for his run-oriented double-wing offensive attack.
