James Bond style: An article in the Nov. 11 Image section about the clothing in the new James Bond film, “Skyfall,” spelled the first name of recurring Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld as Ernest. An accompanying article about product placement in the film said “Thunderball” came out in 1964. It came out in 1965.

UC Merced: In the Nov. 11 California section, an article about the efforts of UC Merced to balance the needs of a growing student body against state budget problems quoted a student as wishing that his statistics and dynamics class took place earlier in the day. The course is statics and dynamics.

Bus rape: An article in the Nov. 10 Section A about the rape of a woman on an MTA bus said she had boarded the 217 Metro bus in Culver City at the intersection of La Cienega and Jefferson boulevards. The intersection is in Los Angeles.

NFL scores: On the cover of the Nov. 12 Sports section, a listing of National Football League results erred in giving one score as Cincinnati 31, Tennessee 3. Cincinnati defeated the New York Giants, 31-13, and Tennessee beat Miami, 37-3.
