L.A. Philharmonic review: In the Dec. 4 Calendar section, a Los Angeles Philharmonic concert review implied that conductor Jonathon Heyward was part of the orchestra’s Dudamel Fellowship Program in years past. He is a fellow for 2017-18.

John Anderson: In the Dec. 5 California section, the obituary of 1980 independent presidential candidate John Anderson said Anderson’s 7% of the vote helped Ronald Reagan defeat President Carter. Reagan won 50.7% of the vote to Carter’s 41%, so Anderson’s 7% was not the deciding factor.
