Amelia Earhart: In the March 11 Section A, an article about unsolved mysteries and Amelia Earhart, originally published in 1999 and reprinted because of new research on what are believed to be the missing aviator’s bones, said that the fate of the Russian Czarevich Alexei remained uncertain. The article should have been updated to say that DNA testing showed in 2009 that he was killed with the rest of Czar Nicholas II’s family in 1918.
