Voters’ views on budget: In a July 22 article in Section A about voters’ opinions on the state budget, the percentages were transposed in the section concerning the drop in opposition to collecting sales tax on online purchases once voters were told how much money the state loses because of failure to collect the tax; 49% of voters were opposed and 46% were in favor.

FBI director: In the July 22 Section A, the headline on a brief news item about steps taken by the Senate to extend the term of FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III erred in referring to him as “CIA chief.”

Kristin Scott Thomas: An article in the July 21 Calendar section about Kristin Scott Thomas said the actress welcomes the vivid female roles she finds on the pages of American and British scripts. It should have said she welcomes the vivid female roles she finds in French scripts.

Philanthropist: In a July 21 Calendar section article about artist Isamu Noguchi, Orange County arts philanthropist Henry Segerstrom’s first name was given as Harry.

Silvertop: A July 23 Home section commentary on architect John Lautner said the living room of the Silver Lake house known as Silvertop is 3,000 square feet. The living room is 1,000 square feet.

Ennis House: In the July 17 California section, an article on the sale of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House misspelled the first name of architecture writer Karrie Jacobs as Kerrie.
