Yosemite tragedy: In the Aug. 18 LATExtra section, an article about two young boys who were swept away in the Merced River in Yosemite National Park misidentified one of the youths as Andrew Adams. His name is Andres “Andy” Adams.

Sikh temple shooting: In the Aug. 12 Section A, an article about Sikh temple shooter Wade Page’s time in Fayetteville, N.C, said that he performed music at the Black Cat Lounge. He had played at the club when it had a different name and owner.

Facebook stock: In the Aug. 18 Business section, an article about the consequences for Facebook employees of the decline in the company’s stock price said that S&P; Capital IQ analyst Scott Kessler had raised his rating on shares of Facebook Inc. from buy to hold before the first lock-ups expired. Kessler raised his rating from hold to buy.

Caltrans properties: In the Aug. 17 LATExtra section, an article about an audit of houses that the California Department of Transportation owns in and around Pasadena reported that four employees of the state’s Department of General Services paid below-market rent to live in the houses. In fact, the four employees work for Caltrans.

Olympics: An article in the Aug. 12 London 2012 section said that U.S. athlete Brigetta Barrett won an Olympic silver medal in the high jump, but later made reference to Barrett winning silver in the long jump. Barrett won the medal in the high jump.

Microlenders: An article in the Aug. 17 Business section about microlenders for online enterprises identified Stephen Howard-Sarin as EBay’s head of marketing in North America. He is head of advertising in North America.

Vallejo: In the Aug. 12 California section, a photo caption with an article about how Vallejo, Calif., is faring after emerging from bankruptcy protection said that voters in the city approved a 1% sales tax increase. The increase was one percentage point.
