Krump dancing: An article in the Feb. 10 Arts & Books section about krump dancing said Jessica Koslow, a producer at the Underground dance company, was a fellow in the USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism program. Koslow earned a master’s in arts at the USC Annenberg Journalism School. It also said that dancer Boogie Frantick is from New York; he is from Los Angeles. And a caption with a photo of Frantick misidentified his pictured dance technique as krumping; Frantick is a popper.

Oscar songs: A Classic Hollywood feature in the Feb. 11 Calendar section about Oscar-nominated songs said Norah Jones will sing the Oscar-nominated “Everybody Needs a Friend,” co-written by Oscar host Seth MacFarland, from the movie “Ted.” His name is MacFarlane. Also, the article should have noted that Walter Murphy wrote the music and MacFarlane the lyrics.

Frank Ocean: A critic’s notebook on Frank Ocean in the Feb. 11 Calendar section said the singer performed “Bad Religion” on “Saturday Night Live.” In addition to “Thinkin’ Bout You,” he performed “Pyramids.” Also, the article said Gotye won the Grammy for song of the year. The musical act won the award for record of the year.

Hollywood and politics: An article in the Feb. 9 Section A on the relationship between Hollywood and Washington said “Silver Linings Playbook” director David O. Russell spoke on the Senate floor on behalf of a mental-health bill. He spoke in a separate room inside the Capitol and appeared with sponsoring senators.

L.A. budget report: An article in the Feb. 11 LATExtra section about Los Angeles mayoral candidate Wendy Greuel’s budget plans referred to a 2009 memo by the city administrative officer and chief legislative analyst. It was a November 2011 memo.

Jane Austen: An information box in the Feb. 8 Calendar section about stories to be found on latimes.com said Jane Austen is buried in Westminster Abbey. She is buried at Winchester Cathedral.
