Two road workers die after getting struck by a car while setting up a sign in Orange
Two road workers died Thursday night after they were struck by a car while setting up a digital road sign in Orange, police said.
The collision occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Jamboree Road, said Orange Police Sgt. Scott Barrett.
The driver stopped at the scene and was being questioned by police. It’s unclear what caused the crash.
Police warned drivers on Twitter to avoid the area.
