Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Greenville, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning five miles from Greenville, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:57 a.m. at a depth of 4.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 24 miles from Susanville, Calif., 38 miles from Magalia, Calif., 42 miles from Paradise, Calif., and 97 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the last ten days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
