Earthquake: 3.8 quake strikes near Angwin, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.8 earthquake was reported Thursday evening seven miles from Angwin, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:44 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 6.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 22 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 24 miles from Santa Rosa, Calif., 24 miles from Windsor, Calif., and 48 miles from Sacramento.
