Man shot by police outside Tarzana home
Los Angeles police shot a man who allegedly confronted officers with a shotgun outside a home in Tarzana, a police spokesman said late Friday.
The victim was taken to a hospital but his condition was not immediately available, said Sgt. Barry Montgomery.
No officers were injured, Montgomery said.
The incident began shortly after 5 p.m. when officers responded to a call about a man with a gun, Montgomery said. A shotgun was recovered from the scene.
