5 Freeway reopens after woman on overpass taken into custody
The 5 Freeway was temporarily closed in both directions Friday afternoon in Santa Ana after a woman climbed onto the ledge of an overpass.
The closure occurred at Grand Avenue during the evening commute. Officials said they were able to take the women into custody and that traffic was flowing again. But delays through the area were expected to continue for some time.
