Man stabbed to death in Lomita
Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man who was found bleeding from stab wounds in a Lomita parking lot early Saturday.
Deputies responded to a call at about 12:30 a.m in the 26000 block of South Western Ave., located at the Harbor Housing Project, said Sgt. David Rozas of the sheriff’s Lomita Station.
The victim was already being treated by paramedics. He was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he died of his wounds.
The victim’s name was not released. Some reports indicated there was a party at the location of the stabbing, Rozas said, but investigators so far have no motive for the attack.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the sheriff’s homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
