Reader photo: 1.21 gigawatts

Summer in Los Angeles is the best time for outdoor movies, and Cinespia sure knows how to put on a show. Photographer Anson Chu shot this photo at a recent screening of “Back to the Future” at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where Chu guessed there were 10 or more DeLoreans in attendance.

This being Chu’s first time watching a film at the cemetery, he is now eager to go back. Not attending an outdoor movie screening would “feel like an L.A. summer somewhat squandered,” wrote Chu in an email.

1.21 gigawatts? That’s how much juice the plutonium-powered DeLorean in “Back to the Future” needed for time traveling.
