Selfie stick halts Disney roller coaster ride
Reporting from Anaheim, Calif. — A roller coaster ride at Disney California Adventure park was halted for about two hours when someone pulled out a selfie stick.
The California Screamin’ roller coaster was shut down Monday afternoon and passengers had to get off the ride, Disney spokeswoman Suzie Brown said.
Disney bans the use of selfie sticks on moving rides because they could endanger passengers.
The Orange County Register reports the same roller coaster shut down last June after a passenger pulled out a selfie stick.
